Today we visited an African American church to attend the mass. This visit is part of " Religion in American 2: African Evengalical Tradition" . The church is huge and modern . The mass was also modern! with music and dancing !! it is Afrecanized Christianity!!! we also had the chance to see the baptism of new Christians on a high stage.
Later we went to Michigan Avenue for window shopping and came back to the dorm empty handed!!!

WOOOOOOOOOOOOW!!!
i haven't read your blog for a long time thinking you have stopped writing and started to sink in a whirlpool of books and notes..!!but i guess i was wrong, you are still painting a wonderful picture to show us how fun going on studying could be.
i'm really enjoying what you are writing..it is so nice to know that you are happy and having a great time there even with the heavy hard study, and all the reading you are required to do; i can understand that, because we have to do the same for the ELT course as you know. anyway, back to you, i can imagine the atmosphere of the African American church, because of films we watch all the time, but being in a real church where they dance and sing, that i can't feel..!
it must be great to go on tours and see all the places where you can learn more about. i'm waiting anxiously to see the pictures you took everywhere and hear their stories, hope you are taking pictures everywhere, maybe videos too!!?
What can i say more, about us, it's freezing here as you know in this time of the year, but we are still surviving the lovely weather..i think you can imagine that. in spite of that, we are having a nice morning sleep and trying to enjoy our vacation.
take care..waiting for more from you..
Salam Noora? How are you?
I keep checking your blog everyday, but unfortunately I see nothing new.
I hope you are fine enjoying your course and almost daily trips.
Anxious to hear from you so soon.
Take care.
